How do I get my Florida Medical Marijuana Card?

 

By Florida Law, you must first meet with a licensed medical professional that is certified to prescribe cannabis in the state of Florida. If your doctor determines that you qualify, you will then be added to the Florida Medical Marijuana Use Registry & prescribed the medical marijuana for up to 210 days (7 months).

You will then receive an email from the state of Florida containing the application information to apply for your Florida Medical Marijuana card. There is a $75 annual fee for cardholders.


How long does it take for the state to approve my card?

 

Approval from the state of Florida is immediate as long as you have a valid Florida driver’s lisence or Florida ID. Once you receive an email saying that you have been approved, your physical card should arrive within 2 weeks.


How do I buy Medical Marijuana?

 

Once you have received your approval email from the state of Florida and our physician Dr. Betancourt has entered your prescriptions into the registry you can start purchasing marijuana products from any of the dispensaries in the state.


Can a seasonal resident of Florida get a Florida Medical Marijuana Card?

 

By state law you must reside in Florida for 31 consecutive days in a calendar year. If you do not have a Florida driver’s license or a Florida identification card you are eligible for a Florida Medical Marijuana Card by supplying two of the following documents: a deed, mortgage, monthly mortgage statement, monthly payment booklet, or residential rental or lease agreement.
